Fiorella Damerval | Assistant cook
From Ecuador
What is your role in the Salty Souls Experience?
I am the Kitchen Assistant in Ecuador
What’s your background and how did you acquire those skills?
I have always been passionate about cooking. I studied at an Argentinian cooking school and worked in one of the kitchens of LPQ Argentina for many years, eventually becoming the Kitchen Manager.
Biggest challenge within the Salty Souls Experience?
The biggest challenge is when the clock is against us, and we have to have everything ready on time. Additionally, ensuring that the girls enjoy our food and have a memorable experience with our cooking is crucial.
Ninja super skill people don’t know you possess?
Pole dancing 🙂 I compete in international competitions and have my own pole dance school. I am truly passionate about pole dancing, even more than cooking, which is why I quit my job to focus on my pole dance company full time.
Favorite place in the world?
Right now, I am in love with my pole dance school. It is a space that allows me to explore myself, investigate movements, develop ideas and creativity, and also transform energies.
What gets you the most excited in life?
I am very excited about challenges. I feel ecstatic when people enjoy my cooking, seeing my students grow and feel their movement, and being on stage. I love to travel and explore new places, beaches, cities, cultures, and food. I also get excited about simple things in life, like the sunrise, a good meal, and love.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I am usually a scared person haha. Once in Galapagos, we went on a 25km bike ride with some hardcore hills, and it got late, so night fell. We couldn’t see anything, no light at all, only the lantern of the phone, which was almost nothing haha. I was literally scared for my life going down the hills, praying for the bike brakes to work. It was scary but so much fun.
