What is your role in the Salty Souls Experience?
I’m the social media manager at Salty, which basically means I get to reflect all the magic that happens during the retreats—and in the Salty universe—through our socials. My goal is to bring a bit of that powerful, heart-opening, sisterhood energy that happens on retreats into the digital world. I want women around the world to feel inspired and empowered—even if they never attend a retreat. If you follow along, you still get to feel it.
What’s your background and how did you acquire those skills?
It all happened really naturally. I’ve always been super visual—I used to draw all the time, and about 8 years ago I started posting my art on social media. Without realizing it, I’d built a whole community around that. It felt so good to have a space where I could express myself freely. A few years later, I moved to the Mentawais for 8 months and decided to study something during that time (because honestly, I’m always studying something). I ended up doing a long course in social media management, and it all just clicked. I had the experience, the creative side, and now the tools to do it professionally.
How would you describe your personal style and vibe, and how do you think it aligns with Salty’s tone of voice?
Oh, I’m a chameleon. So many lives in so many places. I’m a Reflector in Human Design, so I’m here to taste all the flavors and flow with life. I’m all about creating a delicious, meaningful life—one that feels like me. And I think that’s what Salty is all about too. We’re not selling a dream, we’re building it. Slowly, intentionally, and unapologetically.
Ninja super skill people don’t know you possess?
Give me a piece of fabric and I’ll turn it into a dress—with no sewing involved haha. And give me a bit of free time and I’ll be studying something. Doesn’t matter what—I’ll always find something to learn.
Favorite place in the world?
Oof, that’s a hard one. But Santa Teresa, Costa Rica, still has my heart. I moved here 8 years ago, and even though the town has changed a lot, my daily life here still feels like magic. I’m always in awe of the beauty around me—it’s the place where I feel the most grounded and calm.
What gets you the most excited in life?
The fact that we get to choose. Like, all the time. I’m obsessed with how wild, weird, and beautiful life is—and how we’re constantly choosing how to live it. Right now I’m excited about surfing, building a life with my incredible partner, maybe one day having a home where I can make art, and just continuing to create a delicious life, moment by moment.
What is the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I’ve done a few wild things, but one that truly changed my life was backpacking solo for a year when I was 21. I traveled through Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Panama, Europe, India, and Indonesia—sometimes going days without talking to anyone. That trip cracked me open. It was raw and hard and beautiful and unforgettable. And it opened a door in me that never closed.
